and Imperial Palace Plaza

You will be guided through the Imperial Palace's East Garden, where they'll find what's left of the central keep of old Edo Castle, to the Imperial Palace Plaza. Just a few minutes away from the hirh-rise buildings in Marunouchi's business district, visitors can experience the urban oasis while enjoying Tokyo's history and greenery.

The Imperial Palace's East Garden:

The Imperial Palace's East Garden is located in the Imperial Palace(Kokyo). The garden still has a rich natural environment (approximately 21 hectares(52 acres) ). There used to be Edo Castle. Visitors can see the remains of Edo Castle and experience those days(Edo era) at first hand. So please act the part of 'Daimyo' and enjoy our tour. We maintain a moderate walking pace, stopping at various sites along the tour.

After the tour, we suggest visitors to visit other spots near Imperial Palace's East Garden.
For example, Double Bridge.

Double Bridge :

Double Bridege has long been loved by Japanese people as one of the most symbolic sites in the Imperial Palace. The bridge in front is "the front stone bridge" and the one behind is "the front iron bridge". Generally speaking, "Double Bridge" refers to these "two bridges", but historically, it is "the one behind". The name of the bridge derives from its "double structure".
